And now, the steady climb. I just have to remember that every day I'm just beating my previous record for longest time ran, and not beating my record for the most pathetic I've ever felt, however true that may feel.
But it's not all gloom and doom. My app tells me I set a personal best for both pace and distance today. It's pretty neat that six weeks ago I felt I could barely run a block, and today I can run two miles in better time than I did in high school (which, admittedly, wasn't particularly great to begin with).
